SECTIONING

After your highlight service, dry the hair completely and separate into large triangles—use the high-point of the head as your starting point and take vertical partings that radiate down (similar to a pie that's been sliced into sections). Separate the hair with clips. Next, separate each triangle horizontally, creating a top and bottom as shown. Clip each section up and out of the way.

APPLICATION

  1. On the right side, begin in the bottom half of your first triangle. Apply Glaze Formula 2 from scalp to ends, taking 1/4-inch sections for even saturation. Complete the bottom half and cover with foil to isolate. Release the top half of the section and apply Glaze Formula 1, from scalp to ends in the same manner.
  2. Move to the next triangle on the left. Apply Glaze Formula 4 to the bottom half of the section in the same manner as before. Cover with foil to isolate. Release the top half of the section and apply Glaze Formula 3 from scalp to ends in the same manner. Leave this section uncovered. Continue to work to the left and complete the application by alternating Glaze Formulas 1 and 2 with Glaze Formulas 3 and 4. Make sure to always keep the lighter formulas on top.
  3. At the front hairline, make sure to apply the color neatly and keep the hair back and away from the face. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rinse, then shampoo and condition with Color Extend.
